If you are a huge DotA (Defense of the Ancients) fan, you are probably aware of this game.

DotA is a well-known custom multiplayer scenario for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. In short, DotA has two teams of players and each player takes control of one unique Hero. These Heroes can be leveled and geared with items to make them more powerful. The two teams must then defend their “Ancient” that is at the center of their base and fight their way to the opposing team’s Ancient and destroy it. The first one to destroy the opposing team’s Ancient wins.

DotA has become so popular that there are DotA tournaments and championships held all around the globe.

League of Legends: Clash of Fates is said to be “successor to Defence of the Ancients”. The game is currently being developed by Riot Games, accompanied with some of the previous creators of DotA. League of Legends is basically a stand-alone game of DotA with its own engine. It is said to have over dozen unique champions and over 200 uniquely crafted items, this game will surely make DotA fans jump in joy.

Those who have a Battle.Net account can now Opt-in for a chance to get into StarCraft II Beta test!

All you need to do is head over to Battle.Net site (US / EU), create or log in to your account, head over to “Beta Profile Settings” (Please note! You need to have atleast one Blizzard game attached to your account before you can opt-in!)

Then you need to download a program that attaches system specs into your beta profile. When that is done, you can check the games you are interested on beta testing!

As the beta of Jumpgate Evolution is getting close we are getting more and more videos of the game. If you have haven’t signed up already now would be the time.

Coming this June is Jumpgate Evolution, a space MMORPG for the PC. It promises a fast paced combat, versatile quest generator, professions, guilds, massive pvp and pve scenarios, everything you would expect from a current MMO. So far there are only few hands on reviews, and every one of them are positive and the videos of gameplay look awesome. Almost all the gameplay videos are from 3rd person perspective but what I have been reading is that there is going to be 1st person view too.

The game focuses on your role as a fighter pilot in a war between 3 playable races and 1 computer race. You’ll pilot one fighter at a time, you can own many different kinds of ships (bombers, fighters, mining ships) and customize their gear for your needs.

The beta for Jumpgate Evolution will start “soon”, rumors say it will start April, but nothing official. Beta signups are still up so head to the site and signup asap.
