Taking A Week Off!

I wish!

‘Sup everyone? Mike here with a small announcement.

I have been producing videos non-stop for the past three months or so, so I have decided to catch my breath a little and take this week off from making videos. As you know, these videos are more like a side job to me and I also have my main job that I need to take care off + I sometimes have to attend to studies too!

Taking a week off also gives me an opportunity to improve our main website, so expect some downtime here and there. So in the meantime, play some video games, watch some of our older videos here at our site and don’t let this upcoming week stress you out!

New episode of Games Revisited will be posted tomorrow! It is going to be our first PC revisited game!

In the mean time you can read Destructoid’s article about God of War III’s demo that was showcased at Sony Product Event last month!

The camera pulls out in real time to reveal that this battle isn’t just taking place on any old part of Gaia, but on her arm. It’s here that you can really see the scope of these Titans, and what the technology that God of War III uses is capable of. It happens so quickly — with the player still in complete control over the ant-like Kratos — as the Titan swings her arm up and over as she climbs Mount Olympus. Kratos hangs on for his life, using his blades to dig into Gaia’s arm. Now we’re in vertical combat, the battle with the crab creature raging on. And again, it happens.

Sounds and looks pretty damn cool!

Huge it is!

Unfortunately, after one episode of Cover vs. Game, we have decided to cancel it. We found out that the concept behind this show was just too confusing and it didn’t turn out exactly as we had planned + it had too much similarities with our current show “Games Revisited”.

We are currently planning on replacing Cover vs. Game with a new show.

The first (and now the only) episode of Cover vs. Game will not be taken down from our site and it can still be viewed by those who are interested to see it. Click here to see it.

Finally it's done!

As you can probably see, we did some minor changes to the layout of our site. Most notable changes are:

• Our articles are now on the left side of the page and widgets (Public Polls and such) are on the right side.
• Monday Game Break is now Flash Game of the Week and has its own little box in the widget bar!
• Our menu bar’s size has been increased and now you can see all the main categories in it.
• Video Tournament is no more (this was a small “video poll” where users could vote their favorite gaming related videos. Didn’t turn out to be a huge success.. Yea it sucked..)

There can be some bugs here and there, so please inform us if you manage to find one.

Christmas is almost here so it’s time for us to head to our homes and families to celebrate it! So on the behalf of everyone here at Coldwing Gaming Blog, I wish you a
