Video game music.. Whether it’s those good ol’ 8-bit NES bleeps and bloops or fully orchestrated tunes, hearing these tunes will either take you down to memory lane or they will prepare you for an awesome gaming experience. Remixing original video game soundtracks has become extremely popular these days. Even video game companies these days are always remixing music tunes of their past games! I think it’s time for us to pay our respects for all those awesome video game tunes by listening some of the good old classics and their remixes. Let’s start off with one of the well-known video game tunes of all time!
Mega Man II is considered to be one of the best games on the NES. Everything about Mega Man II is great! But there is one tune in the game that has been implanted into the hearts of every old school gamer. This tune is known as Dr. Wily Stage Theme that plays on stage one and two of Dr. Wily’s fortress! Let’s hear it!
This whole tune pumps you up as you battle through hordes and hordes of evil robots, hoping to reach Dr. Wily in one piece and put an end to his reign (again!). It’s 8-bit NES music at its best! This tune right here has spawned numerous remixes and people around the world are constantly playing this tune with different instruments. Let’s check out some of these awesome remixes!
