Guitar Hero World Tour – Red Drum Pad Problems

It has been a really busy week in our “headquarters” and tonight we got a chance to play some Guitar Hero World Tour.

Unfortunately when we started to play our first song, we noticed that the red drum suddenly stopped working. We connected the drums to our computer and checked if the sensitivity was adjusted right. Everything was alright, nothing had changed.

We then decided to open up the drums and see if any of the wires were loose. After unscrewing all the screws, everything seemed to be fine.

I then started to search around the internet if anyone else had this problem. Surely I got many search results, all stating that there are problems with the red drum pad. I read that the cause was likely due to shoddy wiring in the pads.

After searching for a while, I found out a site that had a solution on how to fix this. Those who are having the same problems can visit this site (PLEASE NOTE: This violates warranty of the drums!)

That seemed to do it and everything is working fine now

Another news, we are going to have a F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin review on our site this week! Stay tuned!
